Dates and deadlines

No youth group May 11, 18, 25...bible study 6-7, youth choir 7-8 weds....mission forms due now along with 3rd payment by May 10th and if they have not watched the required safety video yet they need to come and watch it in my office...a brunch will be held to honor seniors on the 18th all youth to bring a brunch item to share...

What? NO YOUTH GROUP? Why? Why, I'm gonna cry! Well, we have Mother's Day this week (so do something nice for a mother), then we have graduation the 18th (if any non-grads want to go to the ceremonies, I can take ya-we can go to some of the grads "get-togethers" too), and then the next week is Memorial weekend...But, don't fret, WE STILL have the WED. night bible study & youth choir from 6-8--don't leave God out of your summer plans, we are going to go outside of the church for a majority of the bible studies after school's out. May 4--Youth group

Howdy all...this Sunday the 4th, we will be helping get decor ready for VBS. Everyone can come from 4-6, we'll have pizza and paint! (and other stuff) Please wear clothing that you don't mind if paint gets on them. Maybe that left over prom dress? kidding...we can use all the help we can get so bring a friend who's bored with life and wants to do something. Hey wouldn't today be a great day to tell someone they are beautiful! You're beautiful too! Peace, T.

This Wed the 30th/National Day of Prayer

"Hey everyone..this wed is the prayer path at first baptist church for all youth groups in Salina, so no wed night stuff will be at our church, including choir and band. Come to the corner of McCall & Lewis at 7 to 8:30 instead. It will be a very meaningful evening for all of you. There is no doubt you will feel God's presence in this night of prayer. I will be in the repentance room for the evening but you can go to any rooms you want. See you there, Peace. T."

The 2nd annual Softball game has been moved up to this Sunday the 27th from 4-6! Sorry for the short notice. Hope everyone can still make it! With the Nolte's leaving and so many graduates, this was the best day for most.

The youth have been practicing and really think they can beat the parents this year (with the help of Jim Raubenstine & Robbie Collins on their side). We'll feed everyone after the game so just come and have fun. We will be on the field behind our church. See you all there!

PS. We did great at concessions, we did approx. 1200 Bucks! Thank you to all that helped!

Mission Trip 2008 is...New Orleans, Louisiana!!! June 21-28th Here we come!
